Physically imposing (193 cm high), granite in the contrasts, good in aerial duels where he stands with great firmness, especially on set pieces in favor, Erlic is an extremely flexible defender, able to play both in a 3-man rearguard where he is the pivot central than in a defense at 4. At Sassuolo, however, he will find no little competition. On paper, in fact, he should compose the defensive tandem with Ferrari, but Ayhan and Ruan can steal time and space. In the ‘Gazzetta’ list of the next Fantasy Championship, it is worth 17 credits, an evaluation lower only than Ferrari (20), totem of the Emilian rearguard.

Born in 1998, of Croatian nationality, Erlic grew up as a football player in Italy, specifically with Sassuolo and Parma where he never made his professional debut. With Sudtirol and Spezia, however, he begins to play frequently. With the team from Bolzano he played 30 games scoring a goal and providing a decisive pass. In the four years with the Ligurians, however, it definitely ‘exploded’: 88 appearances, 6 goals and 3 assists with the bianconeri between Serie B, A and Coppa Italia. It is not excessively foul: just 18 yellow and one red in the 5 seasons so far played in the first team.
