Fans in the VIP area brawl during the Eagles concert in London

A nudge, a beer too many or just one wrong word and it can happen: During the BST festival in Hyde Park in London, several people started fighting in front of the stage. Not even the sounds of the Eagles, the band for which the fans came to the concert, could calm the situation.

With the song “Take It Easy” from the 1972 album “Eagles” the exact opposite happens in the recordings. Concert-goers get into arguments with each other. They bump into each other, push each other and blows are exchanged. Here the video.

Securities can also be seen. They want to bring order to the matter and also manage to expel individuals from the premises. The concert did not have to be interrupted. The Eagles played “Take It Easy” to the end – without noticing anything of the fights.

“Just three more songs and I’ll spank your ass”

In 1980, the rock band almost got into a fight themselves during a concert in California. Things were lopsided between singer Glenn Frey and guitarist Don Felder. On stage, people kept signaling that they were ready for a fight.

“Only three more songs and then I’ll kick your ass, my friend,” Frey is said to have said to Felder between the songs “Take It Easy” and “Life In The Fast Lane”. The guitarist didn’t put up with it, grabbing his guitar and circling it over the singer’s head. The other band members were able to prevent worse with the support of Roadies, and Felder left the concert.
