Just like in 2017 and 2013, the Royal Fanfare Kempenbloei from Achel in Belgium-Limburg became world champion in the fanfare concert division. Kempenbloei is led by conductor Ivan Meylemans, who also performs with Harmonie St. Michaël from Thorn. In addition to the certificate and championship flag, Achel received a cash prize of 5000 euros.
