Fanfare Label launches collection made from recycled denim

Independent, sustainable fashion brand Fanfare Label has launched a new collection of recycled denim made from recycled and organic cotton.

Designed to be fully transparent, from sourcing of fabrics to production, Fanfare Label jeans are durable and easy to recycle.

Manufactured in Portugal in a certified, ethical factory, the new recycled denim collection is made from 69 percent organic cotton, 20 percent recycled denim, 9 percent recycled bottles and 2 percent recycled polyester. The jeans are also GOTS, GRS, OCS and Oeko-Tex certified.

Fanfare Label has also ensured that the jeans are fully recyclable by removing all rivets from the jeans and replacing them with embroidery. Also, the number of labels attached to the jeans has been reduced by printing them on the inner pockets. Recycled materials have also been used instead of virgin, ensuring the alternative buttons and zips are easily removable and reusable.

In addition, the brand has changed the color of the jeans using laser technology, which means that their products save 92 percent more water than traditional denim fabrics.

Fanfare Label’s recycled denim collection is available online at fanfarelabel.com, with prices ranging from €196 to €232.
