Fan of baseball players HCAW and compassionate house photographer for sixty years: “Pump yourself up baby!”

It is a familiar sight along the baseball fields. Photographer Alfred Cop. In 1966, he went to his first game for HCAW and since then has been a staple in the games of the Bussum-squad.

Loudly encouraging

“It has become a big part of my life. Not just because of the game, but also because of the friendships that have been formed,” Cop says enthusiastically. From 2005 he is also the regular photographer of the Bussumers. He doesn’t do this in silence, but he also fanatically encourages his team. “You recognize his voice. You know he is always there. He belongs to the club,” says HCAW pitcher Jim Ploeger.

Holland Series

HCAW is back in the Holland Series for the first time since 2005. On Sunday, the third game against Neptunus was scheduled. NH Sport was present in Rotterdam and followed the eccentric Alfred Cop.
