At the press conference for the film “Green Night” she now said: “I was upset and I want to thank my fans around the world who were worried.” She had to do with a few things. “Every life has ups and downs. And when you hit rock bottom, it’s difficult to get back up,” she says.

It was a tough process, but she also learned a lot of new things during that time. Bingbing: “You learn a lot about the world, a lot about people.” The state-ordered house arrest was even a “very good experience” for her. “Everything is fine with me now,” said the 41-year-old.

She has also not acted in a single film for the past five years. Bingbing: “The biggest challenge was actually that I didn’t play for five years. It’s difficult to start again after not playing for five years because I love to play.”

The film “Green Night” by director Han Shuai is about the chance meeting of two women who couldn’t be more different. Together, the inconspicuous Chinese immigrant and the extroverted, green-haired woman venture into the South Korean underworld and assert themselves against the male world.
