A family with three children fled from their home in a fierce fire in Udenhout on Saturday evening. One of the residents was taken to hospital, reports a 112 correspondent. Whether this is one of the children or an adult is unknown.

    The fire broke out around ten past nine at a house in the Garstvelde in Udenhout. It is not known how this could have happened. The fire brigade drove to the fire with several fire trucks.

    Soon the flames engulfed them and the house was filled with smoke. According to a 112 correspondent, an ambulance was also present to check on the family with three children. One of the residents was taken to hospital.

    The damage to the garage is enormous and the house is also uninhabitable for the time being. The family was taken in by local residents.
