It would be a nice day at the sea for Gérault Wiame (29) last Sunday. But his Porsche started to skid on the wet road surface in Zeebrugge and the car eventually crashed into a truck. The accident was fatal, while his 22-year-old passenger is still fighting for his life in hospital. Gérault’s parents and sister can hardly contain the news, especially since he had an ambitious future in mind in the family business. “Doctors did not give a good outlook when he was born, but he always recovered,” he said.
