Family Constellations: Working with our family system helps us HEAL

One thing is clear: we come to life carrying something from the past that is yet to be RESOLVED. What we often do not consciously identify is that these problems are caused by the experiences of our ancestors, and manifest themselves in different ways in daily life such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, phobias, guilt, and obsessive thoughts, among other things.

Are you sure that depression, anxiety, phobia or guilt come from within you? Is there any member of your family system who has experienced what you mention as your own?

The unresolved traumas of our family history spill over into succeeding generations, mingling with our emotions, reactions, and decisions in ways we didn’t plan for. We take it for granted that these experiences arise from us. Since we don’t have its true origin in sight, we are usually incapable of distinguishing what is ours from what is not.

We look for answers in familiar places. We habitually focus on the shortcomings of the upbringing we receive, without realizing that this is not just the beginning of our story. We remain connected even against our will to the experiences of our parents, uncles, grandparents, and even those people who have fatally harmed a member of our family system.

Bert Hellinger teaches us that each one of us is responsible for our destiny, and we are responsible for carrying it or not. If we avoid fate, if we reject it or try to outwit it, another member of our family system may try to pay for it even with his own life.

Let yourself be guided by your curiosity, by those feelings that you think do not belong to you, by those repetitions that you can observe from generation to generation, while I accompany you through a process that has given healing results for many in my listening space.
