Constellations are a work method that consists of representing, through people or tools, the family system or company or current situation of the client who has a question/request in relation to a symptom or difficulty. The situation or the family system or the company are then represented by foreign and impartial people or by the consultant himself.
There are different Family/Organizational Constellations, a group or individual workshop can be developed with tools that replace people, such as templates or Vincores, which are wooden dolls.
In Group Constellations, the seeker chooses people as representatives of his family of origin. These representatives begin to feel like the people represented, if, for example, we have located three representatives: for the consultant, for the father and for the mother, these three people who are going to represent the consultant’s family do not act or psychodramatize the subject that the consultant came to constellate, but they wait for a while in their places and then they begin to have physical sensations and/or emotions in their own body. The representatives can say how they feel about each other and perhaps the son can only see the mother, but not the father; the father may have an interest in the child but it is not her or woman. It can also happen that a representative wants to move, walk away or take distance, look at the floor or not look at anyone at all. All information that begins to emerge is showing a situation from the family past that, for some reason, could not be integrated and remains in the present and is linked to the problem that someone brings to constellation. The representatives transmit to the constellator how they feel in themselves and in relation to the other participants in the configuration. The representative only speaks when the constellator asks him a question.
Generally we make a constellation to get out of the narrow circle from which we see reality, we see it with filters generated by our psyche to protect us, but there comes a time when they no longer serve us! ohWE NEED TO SEE! look beyond and assume our responsibility, this work is not done by a constellation, each one does it together with that consciousness that illuminates and that takes him out of the place of victim, of wounded child and puts him in the place of the adult that he is.
