Show me an Italian first division club that doesn’t falsify its balance sheets with masses of dubious transfers and loans. I don’t even want to condemn the whole thing, but if you take a closer look at the transfer phases, everyone will see that there are hardly any exceptions.
Yep, and that’s why the fans of Italian clubs can actually look to the near future in a very relaxed manner.
I’m just imagining that the Italian authorities will take draconian penalties…
… and deduct 20 or even 30 points from all clubs involved (i.e. presumably the entire Serie A).
This may lead to the “funny” consequence that a club with 3 or 4 points keeps the class, but the order of the clubs doesn’t change. All parties satisfied.
Great, is not it?
And now a slightly more serious note:
The entire transfer fee bubble is just ridiculous anyway.
And it doesn’t just affect Serie A.
I’m just saying Pjanic…
… if people in other countries look as closely as they do in Italy, it can quickly spread very widely and potentially become very ugly.
And this bubble is not even remotely the most dubious in this panopticon, which we still consider to be a sporting competition.
