Fall Out Boy, named after a “Simpsons” character, formed in 2001. They broke through in 2005 amid the next wave of emo that was rampant at the time with their second record, major debut FROM UNDER THE CORK TREE, and single Sugar, We’re Going Down. The band around Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump broke up in 2009 and got back together in 2013. So far they have released seven studio albums, most recently MANIA in 2018.
Singer Patrick Stump was also featured on Martin Garrix’s 2019 summer EDM track “Summer Days” alongside Macklemore.
