HANDBALL – International Tommie Falke (29) from Emmen has extended his expiring contract with his Belgian club Sporting Pelt until the spring of 2025.
The left corner player will remain loyal to the BENE-Leagueclub from Neerpelt for the next three seasons. Falke has been playing for Sporting Pelt since 2019.
Final4
After five good seasons with Hurry-Up, the European Championship-goer took the step abroad. In his first season for Sporting Pelt, Falke immediately became the top scorer of the BENE-League. Last weekend, the wing player managed to beat Hurry-Up in Zwartemeer (27-29) and Sporting Pelt remains on course for the Final4.
Falke, who broke through in the Eredivisie at E&O, about his contract extension: “The new contract shows appreciation for my hard work. I feel good in Neerpelt.”
European Championship in Hungary
Last month Falke made his debut with the Dutch team at the European Championship in Hungary. After infections, he replaced position mates Jeffrey Boomhouwer and Rutger ten Velde. Against Montenegro, 30-34 win for the Orange, Falke made six in Budapest.
