Fake AI-generated photos of Trump with black voters spread | US primaries

Trump supporters are spreading fake artificial intelligence-generated photos of Donald Trump with black people, according to a new investigation by the British public broadcaster BBC. There is no evidence that the fake images are linked to the Trump campaign.

The photos are being distributed to convince black voters to vote for Trump. Black Voters Matter co-founder Cliff Albright said the AI-generated photos appear to be part of “disinformation tactics” targeting the Black community that were also used in the 2020 election.

The BBC says the photos appear to have been taken by Trump supporters themselves. There is no evidence that the photos are linked to Trump’s campaign. Although the presidential candidate is focusing on the black voter with his campaign. For example, ‘Make America Great Again’, the main political action committee that supports Trump, is launching an advertising campaign this week aimed at black voters in Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Artificial intelligence also caused problems earlier in the election campaign, but with robot calls that used AI to imitate Joe Biden’s voice to convince voters.
