The Neonyt trade fair, which focuses on more sustainable fashion, and the Fashn Rooms order event are moving closer together. In January, the two events will take place side by side in the Alte Schmiedehallen on the Böhler site in Düsseldorf, trade fair organizer Igedo Exhibitions announced on Tuesday.
This brings the two trade fairs closer to the Showroom Concept event, which has been taking place in the Böhler area for years and is being held from January 26th to 29th. Neonyt and Fashn Rooms, which took place in Düsseldorf for the first time last year, start one day later.
“For the first time, we are showing both events together in the Alte Schmiedehallen,” says Ulrike Kähler, Managing Director Igedo Exhibitions. “In this way, we are relying on the synergies of both formats without them losing their independence.”
Not only spatially but also thematically both events are coming closer, because with panel talks, lectures and award ceremonies organized during the trade fair, “The Stage” will build a bridge between the two events with an event stage, according to the announcement. The lectures will highlight both sustainable and “conventional” fashion topics relating to the order season and the second Green Product Award Fashion as well as the Design Award Sustainable Fashion from the Association of German Fashion and Textile Designers (VDMD) will be awarded there.
