FAI Panorama Day, the magnificent Italian landscapes

dtenth edition la Landscape Daythe event that FAI, the Italian Environment Fund, has been organizing since 2014 to promote and disseminate the knowledge of the multifarious and marvelous Italian landscapes. Sunday 10 September will trigger the incredible opportunity to stop in the context of unique places where appreciate with more awareness the beauty of the landscapes that surround us.

Panorama Day, 10 September with the FAI

Because landscapes, in fact, an integral part of the extraordinary cultural heritage of our country, they are those precious elements that identify territories and communities. They represent the result of a work carried out by past generations and bequeathed to future ones. And, in FAI’s view, they also highlight thatvirtuous and indissoluble interweaving between Nature and Culture.

Activities to discover the beauty of the landscapes

During the day they are scheduled scenic walks in the historical and naturalistic settings of the Beni e thematic guided tours accompanied by specialized guides. But there will also be creative workshops, interactive educational experiences, musical reviews, sunset trekking and marine explorations.

Mountains, seas and historic villages

However, the absolute protagonist of all the activities will be the environmental and landscape heritage that invades and surrounds these sites. Seas, mountains, villages, cultivated fields, woods and natural areas rich in flora and fauna, ua real immersive experience in 13 fascinating landscapes of ten different Regions. Places that can be observed “from afar” but also discovered “up close” by following the guided or suggested itineraries for the main places of interest in each area.
