On Saturday we experienced a disaster in the opposition stabilization contest of the Generalitat. It is not necessary to explain again everything that was lived, but it is necessary find the reasons of it and solve the situation. The CCOO consider that the mess has had two reasons: the outsourcing of the process and the organization of the tests.
The first has political responsibility and is part of an outsourcing model that has been used by the vast majority of parties that touch the government. A model that we criticized when it was proposed to us by the Public Administration, but that is part of its organizational competence. Now we can’t go back, but We can demand that it does not happen again, as we did in the meeting on Sunday with the ‘councillor’ and that we will repeat on each occasion: We must return to the direct assumption of public services, including testing for access to the Administration.
Regarding the organization of the tests, we find two people in charge: the company that has not completed the work entrusted and the Administration that has not controlled it. This responsibility must be assumed financially by the company and the Administration must purify its responsibility. For now, he considered that it falls to the general director, with her dismissal, from whom we will demand information at the next meeting. Regarding the company, the first words of the ‘councillor’ go in the right direction, but now they must be turned into facts, which we will also analyze in detail.

But we can’t just stop at what happened on Saturday and how to prevent it from happening again. It is urgent to resume the stabilization process, that is serving to end the historical and serious problem of temporality of the Administration. The thousands of people who must stabilize their temporary work must be our priority, as well as career civil servants, who must have their professional promotion guaranteed.

There will be people who will want to take advantage of this mess for their interests, be they political, union or personal, as we are seeing in some reactions. But for the unions that want to transform reality, rather than shout very loudly and use very big words, We have to work and demand the solution. And there we are from the same Saturday and we will continue like this.
Because the losers are the people who have studied for months, that on Saturday they were mistreated and now they don’t know what will happen to their exam. That is why we have demanded that all incidents be analyzed urgently and that the Administration make decisions in the shortest possible time. If some tests need to be repeated, people should know in a few days, and new tests should be done in the next few weeks. Together with compensation to all those affected, it will be the only way to continue the stabilization process with the respect that workers and workers deserve that guarantee public services to citizens.
