Links to another service are removed from Facebook in seconds. Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, recently announced reforms in the operation of the respective platforms. For example, the company will end its own fact-checking working group and move from X to the familiar community notes. Users are also allowed to use more questionable language in the services than before. For example, sexual and gender minorities may in the future be designated as mentally ill in Meta’s services.
