Rein de Vries (77), a well-known face in the city center of Deventer, died unexpectedly on New Year’s Day. De Vries used to be considered the Deventer cinema man and, despite his old age, was still active as a host at the Centrumgarage. “It’s unbelievable how many reactions we receive about his death.”
