The Dutch fashion brand Fabienne Chapot has finalized its international expansion plans. The opening of the first two own stores in Germany is planned for this year, reported the daily newspaper “De Volkskrant” on Sunday. One of the stores should open in Berlin, for the second Hamburg, Munich or Düsseldorf are possible locations. The specific decision still depends on which city has suitable premises available, the article says.
Fabienne Chapot set up sales structures for the wholesale business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland almost a year ago. With the first own stores in Germany, the next expansion step follows. According to the “Volkskrant” report, the brand currently generates fifty percent of its sales in wholesale. Thirty percent of the proceeds come from the company’s own online shop, the remaining twenty from its own eight boutiques in the Netherlands.
