Fabian Klos extends Arminia Bielefeld – turnaround after head injury

Contrary to what was planned and announced on February 14, Fabian Klos at Arminia Bielefeld will extend it again and add a year to it. The club’s 34-year-old record goalscorer suffered a serious head injury after a violent collision with his team-mate Alessandro Schöpf in the Bundesliga game against VfB Stuttgart in early April, which should result in a longer absence and the early end of the season. “I’ve almost started cleaning out my locker. But then I thought to myself: Leaving our stadium lying on a stretcher, that can’t be it. I’ll go on for another year,” Klos announced in a video message from Arminia. Both parties do not want the successful time together to end in this way.
