The Reds beat the 32nd place in the Cup with a clear 4-0. Jota, Alexander-Arnold and Danns also scored

Finally Federico Chiesa. The blue scored his first English goal in the Saturday lunch match of the FA Cup, the English cup which opens the phase in which the Premier League greats are involved with the 32nd. Also on the pitch are Chelsea and Manchester City, who like Liverpool face teams from League Two, the fourth English series.

Liverpool-Accrington Stanley 4-0

Mission accomplished. Liverpool took 29 minutes to defeat Accrington Stanley, 19th (out of 24) in League Two, then without too many worries they enjoyed the match and reached the fourth round of the FA Cup. Finally showing off a lot by Federico Chiesa, who scored his first English goal in the 90th minute. The Italian starts from the bench in a profoundly revised lineup, in which Slot leaves Salah out but initially prefers the 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha to the former Juve player, but at the start of the second half it’s his turn. It is his fifth total appearance for Liverpool, the first time on the pitch since 18 December in the Carabao Cup, the second half-match played since the end of September. Chiesa places himself on the outside right of attack and in less than a minute he already has an opportunity, however hitting the outside of the net. Then he had a hand in making it 3-0 (Jota and Alexander-Arnold had put Liverpool two goals ahead between the 29th and 44th minutes), taking off on the counterattack in the 76th minute: goalkeeper Crellin blocked his shot but could do nothing on the rebound captured by Danns. He tries again in the 87th minute, but his nice dribbling in the area leads to a left-footed shot that ends up on the post. It goes much better in the 90th minute: his splendid shot from the edge goes in unstoppable low shot giving Liverpool the poker. This was definitely Chiesa’s best performance with the Reds: physically he finally seems ready to lend a hand, he just lacks that match rhythm that can only be achieved by being on the pitch, exactly what he has struggled to do up until now. With the January window open, the next few weeks will be important for the Italian: stay in Liverpool and try to earn more minutes in a crowded attack, where he currently has at least 5 players in front of him in the hierarchy, or postpone the Premier experiment and go elsewhere, perhaps at Napoli who put him on their list of replacements for after Kvara?
