vasseur and the special start

In view of a crucial season for Ferrari, which in Bahrain won 7 times and totaled 6 poles and 16 total podiums, the new Team Principal Frederic Vasseur thus explains his emotions. “I’ve experienced the start of the season many times in my career, but I have to admit that this time it’s really special. I feel the passion of all the Ferrari people in Maranello, but also of the fans: a couple of months were enough for me to get infected by this passionate enthusiasm and we can’t wait to start the season.”

vasseur and the sf-23 which responds well

This is Vasseur’s analysis of the outcome of the collective F1 tests, carried out on this same track last week. “The tests went well, the three days of work showed that the car is giving the indications we expected and now we have to perfect the setup to get the most out of the SF-23. One thing is clear: being the championship with the most races ever, whatever the result of the first Sunday, the title will neither be won nor lost in Bahrain.”

vasseur and the variables

These are the technical variables that Vasseur identifies as crucial for the Sakhir GP: “We all know the track well, but we know that the air and asphalt temperatures change a lot and that the wind and the new Pirelli tires will make set-up complicated. Carlos and Charles collected a lot of data in the three days of testing and I expect a well-prepared team for a solid weekend.”
