The Italian Grand Prix began with a surprise blow before the street: the retreat of Nico Hulkenberg, forced to return to the pits after the training lap for a technical problem with his car. At the off of the Lando Norris traffic lights, the second party, he had a good inspiration on the pole-man Max Verstappen, with the Dutchman who responding to Max’s attack inside Curva-1 cut the chicane. To try to curb the success of the Red Bull of Verstappen, the two McLaren attempted an aggressive approach, changing the tires less than ten laps from the end of the GP, waiting for the entry of a safety car that however did not arrive. The first to return to the pits was Oscar Piastri and the second Lando Norris who, due to a slow pit-stop, lost his position on the teammate. However, from the wall they asked the Australian to return the second place to Norris, leaving the two “free to fight after the exchange”. Plastri, who performed the stage of Scuderia, however did not return to attack Norris in the final laps, closing the race thinking about the world title, which sees him ahead of 31 points on Lando. To win the race with safety was an extraordinary Verstappen, never really put in difficulty by what was to be a McLaren overwhelming power and which is confirmed solidly third in the pilot world championship. At points, behind the Ferrari of Hamilton also Albon (7th), Bortoleto (8th), Antonelli (9th) and Hadjar (10th). The Italian of Mercedes returned to points after a few difficult races on the weekend of the home race, however losing a position on the end of the race due to a five -second penalty for irregular guide. Great performance also for Hadjar, taken 19th and went back to the race with a solid performance.
