Sonja Hoylaerts, manager of restaurant Serenata in Zaventem, had an uneasy feeling when she saw a group of young people arguing near the station this afternoon. “I couldn’t understand what they were shouting at each other. But you felt it was going to get out of hand,” she says to VTM News. Hoylaerts saw how 4 young people walked into the station “perhaps because of an unsafe feeling”. “I immediately called the police and tried to save the boys.” Unfortunately, Hoylaerts did not succeed: “The police were on site one minute after the collision”.
