Finns rely a lot on black when dressing, and the same goes for glasses. Salo estimates that the best-selling frame colors nationally are black and brown patterned.
Salo recommends getting at least two glasses for variety, why not more. In his opinion, too many people make the mistake of buying other glasses for a party. However, few people have parties very often, so special glasses should not be kept at the bottom of the drawer waiting for better days, but should be put to use.
At eyeglass stores, it’s good to think about why you would want to look the same as everyone else or wear the same glasses as everyone else? If black frames for everyday life are attractive, could the other frames be in a bright color, for example your favorite color?
– For example, reduced glasses and other more colorful ones are a good combo to change up your everyday style. You don’t necessarily even need to wear make-up with visible frames, Salo reminds.
