Bus transporter Qbuzz will deploy extra buses to and from the liberation festivals in Assen, Emmen and Groningen on Friday 5 May.
The Liberation Festival Drenthe is in Assen on the Baggelhuizerplas. For visitors to the festival, a special bus line 55 runs every 15 minutes between the station and the Baggelhuizerplas from 11 am to 1 am. Qliner 309 Groningen Hoofdstation-Assen also stops close to the festival (Torentoronde stop) and runs every 15 minutes until 1 am.
Extra buses will run from Assen station until after midnight to Rolde Emmen (line 21), Beilen Westerbork (line 22), Annen (line 52), Norg Roden Leek (line 83) and Rolde Gieten (Qliner 310).
In addition, a Liberation Festival will take place on the Raadhuisplein in Emmen. Several bus lines to/from Emmen run extra trips for this purpose until after midnight.
Extra buses will run from Groningen Central Station to Gieten Emmen (Qliner 300), Assen (Qliner 309) and Gieten Stadskanaal (Qliner 312) until after midnight.
