Extinction Rebellion (XR) has asked demonstrators blocking the A12 in The Hague to end the action prematurely. According to the activists, it was no longer safe due to the presence of a group that had responded to a call to demonstrate against the blockade. “We have made an urgent appeal to leave ourselves,” said a spokesperson.
