Extensive house fire in Zonnebeke | Focus and WTV

The fire brigade of the Westhoek zone arrived en masse and asked local residents to keep windows and doors closed. When she arrived on the scene, smoke was already billowing from the windows of the upper floor and a moment later flames were shooting from the windows.

Thanks to the neighbours, the resident was able to leave the building in time. The house is temporarily uninhabitable. The residents are being taken care of by relatives. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
