As reported by “Bild”, the two sides are said to have made a significant step forward in terms of extending the contract. The talks, which have been going on for weeks between BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl and the Can side, could be concluded “promptly”, as the newspaper report said.
There should still be contractual details between the black and yellow and the 29-year-old to be clarified. In principle, however, BVB and Can should have long since agreed that they want to continue their cooperation beyond 2024.
