Expressen: Ilves star player changes club

Swedish newspaper Expressen’s according to the information, Ilves’ goalkeeper Marek Langhamer moves to the Swedish premier league, the SHL, for the next season.

Langhamer’s contract with Ilves ends this season.

Chekkiveskar’s new address is IK Oskarshamn. In the current season, the team was seventh in the regular season of the SHL and fell to Lulaja in the pity playoffs on Tuesday.

28-year-old Langahamer is now playing his second season in Ilves. In 40 regular season games, his save percentage was an excellent 92.4. There were no less than eight clean sheets.

The Ilves keeper’s statistics were overall the best in the SM league.

Oskarshamn was played by strikers this season Antti Suomela and Ahti Oksanen and defender Juuso Riikola. Among them, Suomela will move to Lausanne of the Swiss league next season.
