Explosive material was found in one of the homes in the flat in Diemen where the emergency services responded en masse yesterday around 6:30 p.m. Residents of the complex had to leave their homes as a precaution. They could not return until around midnight.
The Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD), police, fire brigade and ambulance were on site at the flat on Tarwekamp yesterday. The explosives found were probably intended for explosives.
It is not known whether anyone has been arrested. Because this is an ongoing investigation, the police cannot yet share any further details.
