Explosive goes off at home, second attack in a month

An explosive went off at a house on Antwerpenlaan in Eindhoven on Monday evening. That happened a few doors down from a house that was shot at a month ago. According to the police, these were heavy fireworks. A woman was home at the time of the explosion. She was not injured.

The explosion happened around half past eleven in the evening. The front window of the house is completely shattered. The glass was even across the street. The police cordoned off the entire street for investigation.

Second attack in a month
Less than a month ago, a house around the corner came under fire. According to local residents, this was a mistake. An unsuspecting family was then left with several bullet holes in the facade.

It happened again on Monday evening. Although this time, local residents suspect that the attack was committed at the right address, a correspondent said. The houses are located around the corner from each other and the backyards are adjacent to each other. “Where it happened last month at house number two, it was now at the second house from the corner,” says a local resident.

Bandage
This time no shots were fired, but an explosive went off. The police cannot yet say whether there is a connection between the two attacks. “We are currently only working on securing and collecting traces,” the police said.
