In the evening, Potsdamer Platz / Leipziger Platz was largely closed and a suspicious suitcase stood in the middle of the sidewalk at the back of the Canadian embassy. The police triggered the explosives alarm and called in the fusers. After opening the case with a water cannon, the all-clear could be given. It was just clothing. The blockades were lifted.
