An explosive went off at a house in the Waverstraat in Amsterdam South last night. There was damage to the facade and a window was broken. Shortly after the explosion, a small fire is said to have raged in the house.
The explosion happened around 2 a.m. last night. Police temporarily closed the street for investigation.
The Explosives and Security Team (TEV) and the Forensic Investigation Service came to the scene to investigate the remains of the explosive. The case was then handed over to the criminal investigation department.
