The police arrested a 25-year-old Rotterdam resident on Friday evening. The man is suspected of being responsible for an explosion at a house on the Jan van Eyckgracht in Eindhoven on July 3 this year.
The bang, which was caused by heavy fireworks, severely damaged the front door of the house. Various camera images show the suspected perpetrator cycling with a face covering, messing around at the front door and then leaving again. The resident escaped unscathed.
The reason for the explosion is currently being sought in the relational sphere, but further investigation into the exact circumstances is ongoing, the police report.
