Last week, former minister Stef Blok was appointed as sanctions coordinator and that appointment followed strong criticism from the House of Representatives about the slow way in which the Dutch government has imposed sanctions against Russia. Lawyer Yvo Amar thinks it is high time for one sanctions counter in the Netherlands instead of the maze of regulations.
