“When the conversation on the Minsk agreements sounds at the level of presidents – this is one story, but then it descends to pragmatic land, and there it’s somewhat different, ”said Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR on foreign relations, representative of the head of the republic in the working group at the Minsk talks.
According to him, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba says there is no dialogue.
“There is dialogue, but what’s the point of it?” says the expert.
“Kuleba says the following: yes, we will give the document. We did not have time, but the experts are working, maybe in two weeks, if thoughts converge, then we will probably hand over our document, but I’m not sure about that. But we need to intensify the process negotiations, so we are ready to schedule three additional meetings within two weeks,” says Rodion Miroshnik.
“But why?” the expert asks. “Why do this if Ukraine is not ready to draw an ordinary piece of paper on which its official position will be written.”
According to him, in the Kiev leadership, everyone interrupts each other. “U Kuleba own position, Yermak has his own position, Zelensky – depending on the state. Here’s how you can negotiate with this cohort? the politician asks. – And who needs to fulfill the agreements in Ukraine, which of them wants this?
Over the past month, he noted, Ukraine has shipped weapons worth one and a half billion dollars. And in this situation they are interested in the world?
“Now the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry should arrive in the status of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office. He first says: they say, that’s it, I’m going to the place of the largest conflict, I will talk with Zelensky, Kuleba, meet with my representatives, I will go to Donbass. We send him an official letter, where we say let him come, we’ll show you everything. He replies: they say, it does not work, there is not enough time. Not enough for Donetsk, Lugansk. There is enough time for one side, not enough time for the other,” said Rodion Miroshnik.
According to him, they have the only option in their heads – Croatian, but only a stretched one. The main task is that the whole world begins to stigmatize Russia so that it does not twitch.
The economic possibilities of Russia’s influence have not been used at all, the expert believes.
