The Netherlands expels seventeen Russian spies. The people were officially registered as diplomats, but according to the secret services AIVD and MIVD were secretly active as intelligence officers. It has been known for some time that Russia is spying here, for example, in 2018 four more men were arrested and deported after they tried to hack into the OPCW.
