Last weekend 600 participants crossed the Limburg countryside by canoe, bicycle or on foot. On their journey they raised money for their favorite nature reserve. The 122 teams each raised at least 1,500 euros, for a total amount of 338,581 euros.
“We are over the moon with such a fantastic amount. Every participant has worked very hard to make this happen”, responds Willem Laermans, vice-chairman of Natuurpunt. The money goes to the nature reserves that the teams chose. “In this way, 102 Natuurpunt areas will only get better,” it sounds.
