Expatriate player Abdullah Doğan, who was in the Werder Bremen II squad for a while and most recently played for TB Uphusen, one of the German Oberliga teams, went to Kharkov, Ukraine to complete his transfer to Ukraine’s Metalist Kharkiv team and sign his official signatures. After Doğan landed at the airport, the expatriate player was stranded in the country due to Russia’s start of operation in Ukraine. Doğan, who struggled to survive in the metro station in the first days, is currently waiting for the war to end in the bunker located in an 18-storey building in the city.
