Exit poll: Tunisia’s new constitution adopted, despite low turnout

Voters in Tunisia voted in a referendum on Monday in favor of President Kais Saied’s new constitution, but turnout was low at about 25 percent of eligible voters. According to an exit poll by Sigma Conseil, 92 to 93 percent of voters voted to adopt the constitution. Since no threshold for turnout has been set, the constitution is adopted.
