Exit Bissegem R8 closed to heavy traffic

Due to the works on the trumpet connection in Kortrijk, many trucks are driving past the Bissegem exit to reach the inner ring road. With major traffic problems as a result.

The Agency for Roads and Traffic is now introducing a cargo ban above 5 tons. Trucks can take a detour via the E17 and the Kortrijk-Oost complex. The ban applies until the end of the works, at the end of 2024.
