‘Le grand chique’ from Knokke and the surrounding area made a massive presence this afternoon in the renovated Knokke luxury hotel ‘La Réserve’ to test the much-discussed brasserie of Peter Goossens in all scents and colours. We also managed to get a table in ‘La Rigue’ for the first shift of the very first day. While big boss Bart Versluys watched discreetly from a bar stool the whole time, the table guests cooed with surprise, delight and craftsmanship in the third degree. Like us. Until we got the bill.
