With ‘Season Finale’, Robert Merhottein’s (74) last Peekaboo will be released on 6 September. After 164 albums that went through the box office some 30 million times and just under 30 years on the throne of the Belgian comics world, Merho is calling it quits. Punishment for someone who does not consider himself a great draftsman. “I do not put an end to ‘De Kiekeboes’, but a question mark,” he says in an exclusive conversation with HLN.
