Ex-US Air Force intelligence officer claims to have found wreckage of pioneer Amelia Earhart’s missing plane

American aviator Amelia Earhart mysteriously disappeared in 1937 during her record attempt to travel a distance of 47,000 km around the world. A former US Air Force intelligence officer, Tony Romeo, now believes he has located the wreckage of Earhart’s Lockheed 10 Electra, almost 87 years after it reportedly crashed into the Pacific Ocean.
