VfB Stuttgart’s former goalscorer Sasa Kalajdzic will probably no longer be available for the English first division team Wolverhampton Wanderers this season.
The Austrian international is expected to be out for around nine months, the Premier League club said.
Kalajdzic suffered a serious knee injury on his debut against Southampton in early September. According to the club, he was then successfully operated on.
The 25-year-old striker only left the Swabian Bundesliga shortly before the end of the changeover period. The transfer fee is said to have been around 18 million euros. In addition, bonuses are to be added.
