Search for Smith successor
After the separation from coach Dean Smith, David Wagner has apparently become the focus of Norwich City. According to “The Athletic“The former Schalke coach is one of four candidates for the job on the sidelines at the championship club. The Canaries sacked Smith on Tuesday after 56 games with an average of 1.09 points and hope to find a successor next week. The three other candidates were not named.
A report by the “Daily MailAccording to this, HSV coach Tim Walter is also said to have aroused interest, but since the 47-year-old is about to be extended at the “Rothosen”, this option is more than unlikely. The newspaper also named the Englishman Chris Wilder as a possible successor to the Premier League relegated team.
