Ex-Real captain Ramos scores for Paris for the first time

Paris (AP) – Sergio Ramos has scored his first goal for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. The longtime captain of the Spanish soccer record champions Real Madrid scored in PSG’s 4-0 (1-0) win against Stade Reims to make it 2-0 in the meantime.

The 35-year-old ex-world champion only moved from Madrid to Paris before the season, but had to pause for a long time due to an injury. Marco Verratti (44′), Reims’ Wout Faes (67′) with an own goal and Danilo Pereira (75′) contributed to the success of the club in the capital. Paris leads the table of the first French league with eleven points ahead of OGC Nice.

Superstar Lionel Messi made his comeback against Reims after a month-long break from Corona. The Argentine tested positive for the virus at the end of last year. He was substituted on in the 63rd minute.
