Former Colombian soccer player Diego Osorio has been arrested again for drug trafficking.
According to a police report on Friday, the 52-year-old was caught with almost two kilograms of cocaine at a Colombian airport while trying to board a flight to Madrid.
For Osorio, who hid the drugs in shoes, it is the third arrest for similar offenses – in 2016 he was sentenced to house arrest. The former defender made 17 appearances for the Colombian national team in the 1990s. At club level, he played for Atletico Nacional in Medellin for a long time.
